Transforming the direct-to-consumer business through merchandising while scaling up marketing and adding new sales channels.
During our 30 month engagement, I overhauled the entire direct to consumer and marketing business to scale net revenue while minimizing inventory liability. I also helped the brand profitably navigate the challenges of COVID-19 via operational efficiencies, product drop merchandising, and paid advertising.
One of my proudest accomplishments is the development and stweardship of the Rhude Bowl site and operational platform. Inspired by an experiential event at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, RhudeBowl.com was an online-only, password protected flash sale site originally launched during the 2019 Black Friday season. The site successfully liquidated aged inventory through smart, limited-time pricing, maintaining the premium nature and newness of the main Rhude site. It developed into a place for new product launches, surprise drops, and a means to reward loyal customers. It is still regularly used to this day.
Another notable project is the buy and execution of one of the largest Out of Home media opportunities on the Sunset Strip. After an ad hoc photoshoot with my favorite rapper, Future, I was able to secure, execute, and document an OOH run on the side of a building, delivering over a million IRL impressions and countless millions more online and through social media. We did it all within a week's time.
